Campbellsville University is a widely-acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university located in Campbellsville, Ky. and was founded in 1906. The University is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation.

The university has off-campus centers in Kentucky cities Harrodsburg, Hodgenville, Liberty, Louisville, and Somerset with instructional sites in Elizabethtown, Owensboro, Summersville, one in Costa Mesa, Calif., and a full complement of online programs.

Accreditation

Campbellsville University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award diplomas, certificates, associates, bachelors, masters, specialist, and doctorate degrees. Campbellsville's music program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM). The teacher preparation program is approved by the Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB) for teacher education and certification and is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation for Teacher Education (NCATE). The NASDTEC Interstate Contract provides opportunity for graduates to earn teaching certificates in other states, although there may be applicable conditions. The Baccalaureate Social Work and Masters of Social Work programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). The Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy is accredited by the Commission on Academics for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE). The RN to BSN Nursing Program is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
